Unraveling

“Unraveling the external self and coming home to our real identity is the true meaning of soul work.”

Sue Monk Kidd

“What has happened to our ability to dwell in the unknowing, to live inside a question and coexist with the tensions of uncertainty? Where is our willingness to incubate pain and let it birth something new? What has happened to patient unfolding, to endurance? These things are what form the ground of waiting.” —Sue Monk Kidd

Welcome to the #estagram series, a blog-based grid collection that conveys what I’m learning in my daily mindfulness practice.

Creating mantras I can repeat to myself helps me stay grounded in challenging moments, and it reminds me how worthy I already am. Macro photography is an art that reminds me to make moments for stillness and tranquility. Weaving together these mantras and macro moments into a special blog feed is an essential element of my mindfulness practice that deserves to be preserved.
