“It will take all of our collective wisdom to make a global code of ethics.” —Thich Nhat Hahn
“There is a revolution that needs to happen—and it starts from inside each one of us. When we change the way we see the world, when we realize that we and the Earth are one, and when we begin to live with mindfulness, our own suffering will start to ease.”
When we begin to see that causing someone else to suffer causes ourselves to suffer, that is a moment of true power. People of sound mind, body, and spirit don’t intend to hurt themselves, let alone others. When it happens, the root of this is carelessness; that is why mindfulness is the one solution that really works. We must intend to live with care in the present moment. Whenever we fail, we must begin anew. And when we demonstrate our consistency in the practice, it is our duty to share it with others.

Welcome to the #estagram series, a blog-based grid collection that conveys what I’m learning in my daily mindfulness practice.
Creating mantras I can repeat to myself helps me stay grounded in challenging moments, and it reminds me how worthy I already am. Macro photography is an art that reminds me to make moments for stillness and tranquility. Weaving together these mantras and macro moments into a special blog feed is an essential element of my mindfulness practice that deserves to be preserved.
