Day Eleven

On my hike today, I heard a bird and I wanted to know which one it was.

I rarely see birds close enough to make an ID (let alone snap a photo); however, I have found I can easily record their songs. So the following process works for a technophile like me to “go birdwatching.”

☑️ record audio, ✅ upload audio to BirdNET for identification, ☑️ find an image of the bird from Canva, ✅ find a high quality sound clip of the birdsong from XenoCanto, and ☑️ layer them into a new Canva video ✅ post on social media
