Day Twenty-four

After an easy swim workout this afternoon, I got back to my desk around 2:45 pm and thought, “Why not go to Malibu? I can catch the sunset…”

As I waited for the sun to set, I remembered this is what I’ve worked and waited years for—to feel like going to the beach and for it to be easy to go there, to see things that surprise and delight me, to know what we want in life is possible. We’re creating our reality. It’s not easy, but it’s so worthwhile for moments like these.
